Karl Bonners Obituary
He was born in Düsseldorf on March 12, 1939. His childhood, adolescence, and young adult years in post-war Germany instilled a passion for keeping a well-stocked pantry and he fought valiantly against anyone who tried to donate his canned goods. He was happiest feeding his loved ones, beating them at cards, and having the last word.
A prayer service will be held at Mother Seton Catholic Church in Germantown, Maryland on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. All friends and family are welcome.

Karl Heinz was the one with the quickest, biggest smile at every reunion. He was always so happy to see us, to play cards with us, and, of course, take our money.... :). June, Kathy, Danielle, and Karl Mathias - I am so sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to lose the best dad, but there is one hell of a Sturey family poker game going on in heaven right now, and I bet Karl is laughing and raking in the pot! All our love.....
