Karl Coblentz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home - Carson City on Dec. 12, 2025.
Karl Ray Coblentz, age 59, of Ithaca, passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2025. Born on October 10, 1966, in Carson City, he was the son of Enos and Burneda (Litwiller) Coblentz.
A naturally creative man, Karl is described as a real-life MacGyver. He could often be found tinkering with nothing and turning it into something. Karl loved Pepsi, hunting, and his motorcycle club "The Rat Pack;" he always looked forward to riding his motorcycle on cross-country trips. He valued family gatherings with his Coblentz cousins and always had a story to tell.
Karl is survived by his mother Burneda; children Kyle (Katie) Coblentz of Alma, Trevor (Allison) Coblentz of St. Louis, and Savannah McCoy of Pewamo; grandchildren Cooper Coblentz and Grady Coblentz; brothers Troy (Janelle) Coblentz and James Coblentz; and nephews, many cousins, and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Enos Coblentz; nephew Jayden Coblentz; and an infant sister.
Karl's family invites family and friends to join them for Memorial Gathering from 10am – 11:30am on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City. Sharing of Memories will begin at 11:30am. His remains will later be laid to rest at Hayes Road Cemetery in Newark Township.
