Connie Ramirez Obituary
Age 79, of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at U of M Hospital West in Wyoming.
Connie was born December 7, 1946, in San Antonio, TX., the daughter of Alex and Antonia (Reyes) Ramirez Sr. She worked as a packaging specialist. Connie enjoyed doing puzzles and crosswords, watching U of M sporting events, the Food Network, Chicago Fire and La Rosa of Guadalupe, cooking and loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Jose Martinez, daughters Antonia (Cody) Loynes, Andrea (William) Nurenberg, grandchildren Marcella, Gabriella, Adabella, Dominic, siblings John Ramirez, Edward Ramirez, Lupe Castillo and many nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Alex Ramirez Jr. and Rosemary Albring.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 12 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church in Carson City. Interment will follow at Maryknoll Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10 am until time of Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
