Vicki Lynn Dailey

Vicki Lynn Dailey, age 82, of Hubbardston passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026. She was born February 26, 1944, in Ionia, the daughter of Arley and Velma (Merritt) Travis. She was a 1962 graduate of Ionia High School and went on to earn her degree in cosmetology.
Vicki married Bernard Dailey on October 27, 1962, a blessed union of 58 years, until his passing in 2021. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and showed her unwavering love by caring for her family and everyone she knew. Vicki was a wonderful cook and baker. She was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston.
Vicki worked as a hairdresser in her home for many years. She especially enjoyed working with the children at the Carson City and Hubbardston Elementary Schools as an aid. She enjoyed animals, especially her dogs and horses.
Vicki is survived by her children Matthew Dailey, Lynette (Mark) Ward, Tom (Stephanie) Dailey; grandchildren Erica (Bryan), Courtney (Blaine), Trevor, Tara, Maeve; great-grandchildren Olivia, Dane, Grace, Landon, Crew, Layla; a brother Robert (Jan) Travis; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard; son James Dailey; her parents Arley and Velma; and siblings Marie Spaulding, Gerritt Travis, Merritt Travis, Arlene Brown, Carl Travis, Jack Travis, Sandra Fahey, Steve Travis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 1 pm, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12 pm until the time of services at the church.
