Karl was a very special friend. My mother and he became fast friends at Blessed Sacrament bingo. He always saved us seats and hers was always next to him. Often they would give me grief: it was their way of showing how much they loved and cared for me. When my mother passed away, Karl was heart-broken. He missed her so much. He loved playing bingo and he was the only person I know who could say the numbers he needed to win and they would be called. Everyone in the bingo hall knew him and he loved to give me grief when I was calling. I was calling the last night I saw him and I did not get a chance to say good-bye, normally I sat right next to him, that night I couldn't. You are now with God and his family. You will see Mom and I am sure both of you are having a blast! Love you sweet man, until we meet again.

Karl was a unique, outspoken, loving and funny, funny man! A bingo lover for many years, Karl was recognized by everyone in the hall at Blessed Sacrament. If you didn't know him yet, you would before the night was through. Little did I know that my good-night kiss on your cheek last week would be our last good-bye. Until we meet again, sweet man. You will be sadly missed, my dear friend! At peace, at last! May God keep you in his care and may you be surrounded by angels for eternity! With love, Peggy Patten
