Karl R. Goblinger, 80, of Latrobe, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.
Born May 16, 1944, in Latrobe, he was a son of the late Louis J. and Antoinette C. (Kubistek) Goblinger.
Prior to his retirement, Karl was employed at Standard Steel and was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He loved traveling on his motorcycle and especially riding with the Patriot Guard. He was a car enthusiast and was most proud of his 1936 Ford Truck.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Benjamin Beeghley; a sister, Stephanie Staschak; and a brother, Stephen Goblinger.
Karl is survived by his wife, Donna Mae (Palmer) Goblinger; two daughters, Kimberly Beeghley (James) and Jamie Eisaman (Rodd); seven grandchildren, Sarah Lyter (Evan), Christopher "CJ" Beeghley, Joshua Beeghley (Sienna), Jacob Beeghley, Katie Beeghley, Logan Eisaman, and Olivia Eisaman; and two brothers, Louis A. Goblinger and David D. Goblinger.
Family and friends will be received from 10 am to noon on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home, LLC, 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe. The Latrobe-Derry Veterans Honor Guard will conduct a military service at 11:45 am Saturday in the funeral home followed by a funeral service at noon. Interment is private.
