Our hearts were saddened to hear of Karl's passing. He was truly his father's son in so many ways and felt we knew him well because of our relationship to his father. He was one of a kind and a treasure to those who called him 'friend'. Our thoughts and prayers for contentment and peace of heart are offered out of love to you, Sharon, and the rest of Karl's family. With loving thoughts......Don & Dale Lohman

I was saddened yesterday by learning of the loss of a friend. We knew each other from bowling and shared the same sense of humor and interest in old radios. I know that he will be missed greatly by family and friends.

Karl was a regular at the ARCI radio club swap meets, going back to the days when we met at the Elgin Holiday Inn. He always brought radio and hi-fi tubes for me to buy, and we had many pleasant transactions, he was a quick wit with a good sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family.

I've known Karl for many years thru the Antique Radio Club of Illinois. He was usually the first to greet me at the swapmeets, yelling, "Smile!" I'll miss that.
Rest in Peace, Karl.
