He was born November 6, 1962 in Witchata, Kansas, son of the late Gary Kenneth Mims and Geraldine "Jeri" Mullins Mims.
He was a truck driver.
Surviving are his Wife, Ellen Payton Mims; Daughter, Rachel Mims (David) Heflin; Granddaughter, Maddie Elle Heflin; Mother, Jeri Mims; Sisters, Gwen (Kelly) Smitherman, Rhonda (Randy) Brasher; A host of Nieces, Nephew, Family and Friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Kenneth Mims.
Friends will be received Friday, February 11, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Watkins officiating.
Interment will follow in Maple Springs Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
