Karl G. Schuh

Schuh Karl Gilbert Schuh, husband of Jean O. Schuh, known as "A Pair of Schuhs" passed into glory on February 28, 2022. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of West Chester. He was a past member of the Explorer Post 75 BSA where he obtained the rank of Eagle Scout and was also a member of the Order of the Arrow. He sang with the Bryn Mawr Mainliners Barbershop Chorus for many years. He retired from Aquatech Fire Protection Company as a Design Engineers. Karl served six years in the U.S. Army Reserve. Karl loved the outdoors and called his property "God's Garden", he was only the caretaker. Together Karl and Jean sailed the Chesapeake Bay and many of its tributaries for 20+ years. They even sailed up through the C&D canal and the Atlantic Ocean to New Jersey. Karl is predeceased in by his parents Ruth and Dave Schuh Sr., his brothers David Schuh, Jr. and Richard K. Schuh and by his daughter-in-law, Maria Buriak Schuh. Karl is survived by his wife of 62 yrs. Jean Schuh; his daughter, Diana Longhenry (Bryan Longhenry), and his son Robin Lee Schuh; his 4 grandchildren; Marc Longhenry, and Jenni Longhenry of Delaware and Joshua Schuh (Jasmine Schuh) and Gabriel Schuh of Washington State. Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service on Saturday, March 26, 2022 11:00 AM at the West Chester United Methodist Church on High Street, West Chester, PA.
