Karl Walker

Karl Robert Walker, 76, passed away on June 9, 2023, in Leesburg, Florida. He was born on August 4, 1946, in Danville, IL, to Mary and Robert Walker. Karl was a born again Christian, committed to his faith. He was kind and friendly to all. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Karl graduated from Valparaiso University with a B.A. in Political Science. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from October 1970 to December 1971.
Karl worked in the Commercial Real Estate Management industry for 40 years where he attained the level of Vice President at his last employer before retiring. He was passionate about his work and was highly respected by his colleagues.
Karl was an active member of Gateway Church in Southlake, TX. He enjoyed conducting a home bible study team, Christian couples counseling, and volunteering his time to help others in need. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching professional sports, and studying the Bible were some of his favorite pastimes.
Karl is survived by his mother Mary Walker, his siblings and their families John Walker, Tom Walker, and Molly Hungerford, and his children and their families Timothy Walker, Kris Walker, and Shelley Walker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Walker.
Thursday, June 29th, 2023, a visitation service will be held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 740 S. Edmonds Lane, Lewisville, TX 75067 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. An informal procession to the funeral service will leave the funeral home at 12 pm. The funeral service will be held at 1:15 pm at the Dallas / Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211 (LANE #2), which he will be honored by the US Army in conducting taps and Pastor Gary Benjamin from Gateway Church, Southlake, TX will be officiating the memorial.
