Karla T. Walker

Karla T. Walker, 70, of The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, at The Villages Hospice House. Born on March 9, 1955, in West Chester, PA. Karla lived a life filled with compassion and humor. She will be remembered fondly for the advocacy and dedication she selflessly gave to those she loved.
Karla spent much of her career as a hospital administrator in labor and delivery at Christiana Hospital in Delaware, where she retired after many years of service. She moved to Winter Haven, FL. 15 years ago from Hockessin, DE. and recently settled in The Villages, FL. An avid tennis player, Karla brought her competitive spirit and joy to the court. Known for her caring nature and hilarious, dry sense of humor, she left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Karla was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chris Walker, in 2019and hr sisters, Susan Brown and Pam Malone.
She is survived by her children, Lindsay Vick, Mike Walker and Dr. Kimberly DeLehman; her brother, Drew Richter, and her grandchildren, Alexander, Alysia, Dresden and Jonah, who will cherish her memory forever.
Karla loved her protective pup Marshmallow. He was always right by her side. He has been thoughtfully and lovingly placed in a good home.
