Karon Lee Davidson, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on December 22, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on December 12, 1957, in Claremore, Oklahoma, Karon's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Her journey through life led her to become the heart of her family. Karon's mother, Imogene Cochrun, stands as a testament to the strong, nurturing spirit that Karon embodied. She leaves behind a loving daughter, Robin Culver, and two devoted sons, Micheal Culver and his son-in-law, Christopher Harris. Karon took immense pride in her grandchildren; Brittany Duperry, Brandon Harris, and Micheal and Megan Culver, and she adored her great-grandchildren, Carson, Amelia Duperry, and Reagan. Karon found joy in being a grandmother, spreading knowledge and warmth, creating a legacy that will carry on through the generations. Additionally, she cherished her honorary grandchildren, including Tyler Fischer, Dustin Jimenez, Joshua Jimenez, Makayla Jimenes, Abby Jimenes, and Jeremy Jimenez, who were all touched by her kindness.
Karon's close-knit relationship with her sisters, Pamela Hickson, Sherri Michols, and Sharon Stephens, enriched her life with companionship and support, illuminating the importance of family bonds. Together, they shared countless moments of joy and laughter that will forever remain in their hearts.
Though her heartache is felt deeply with the loss of her brothers, Steven Ray, Randy Cochrun, and Michael Alan, Karon's spirit will continue to shine through those she loved and who loved her so dearly.
Karon dedicated her life to creating a nurturing environment filled with warmth and affection for everyone who entered her world. She was known for her kindness and compassion, her spirit an unwavering beacon of light.
A funeral service to honor Karon's remarkable life will be held on January 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyvale, Texas. As we gather to celebrate her legacy, let us remember the laughter, the lessons learned, and the love that Karon shared with all of us throughout her beautiful journey.
