Kasandra Jean Burton

Kasandra Jean Burton, 55, of Dover, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. A private family committal service was held in the Chapel of Life, and cremation arrangements were entrusted to the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Humphrey Funeral Chapel.

Born on October 14, 1970, in Baldwin Park, California, Kasandra was the daughter of Ernest and Deborah Lee (Metcalf) Jackson. On June 1, 2000, she married the love of her life, the late Danny Wesley Burton, Sr., in South Lake Tahoe, California.

Kasandra built a long and dedicated career as an agent with All-State Insurance, serving her community for more than 20 years. But her proudest and most cherished work was the love she poured into her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted booster mom for the Dover Pirates and a beloved choir mom for the Dover School choral program, where she also served as a past president. Before her health declined, she was a faithful member of Dover First Baptist Church, drawing comfort and strength from her faith. To those who knew her best, her passions were beautifully simple: cooking for the people she loved and spending time with her grandchildren, who were truly the heart of her world.

Kasandra was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; her husband, Danny; and her great-grandchild, Marcello Reyes. She is survived by her children: Danny Burton, Jr. (Kristina) of Dover, Wesley Burton (Destiny) of Dover, Michelle Reyes (Paul, Sr.) of Stockton, California, Amy Montenegro (Carlos, Sr.) of Stockton, and Jewel-Lee Burton (Andrew) of Dover. She leaves behind her treasured grandchildren-Anthony Jr., Paul Jr., Matthew, Anissa, Carlos Jr., Aubree, Kylee, Brilynn, Drayden, Axel, Aspen, Adlynn, Madge, and Indi-and her great-grandchild, Karissa. She is also survived by her brother, Logan Jackson; her sisters, Kelli Brixey and Lola Floyd, both of Russellville; her stepmother, Linda Jackson of Clarksville; and a large extended family of relatives and friends who will miss her deeply.

Kasandra's legacy is one of unwavering love, generosity, and devotion. She served her family with pride, compassion, and a heart that never stopped giving.
