Kasimir John Domark age 87 peacefully passed away at Chico Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation located in Chico, CA Monday morning November 11, 2002. Born September 8th, 1915 to Lithuanian immigrants Kostantyn and Stefanyi Danilevicute in Chicago, Illinois he moved to the West Coast thirty six years ago. Kasimir was a resident of the Lake Almanor Peninsula since moving here from Anaheim, CA in 1977 until health concerns required moving to Chico, CA in 2001. Kasimir retired from Ford's aerospace division as a plant manager after thirty seven years of dedicated service to the company. A devout member of Christ the King Catholic Church of Chester, CA he was active with the church's mens club. He was an accomplished mechanic and self taught engineer who during his youth was active in both the open wheel and stock car racing ranks. He shared his knowledge of the sport authoring a book entitled How to Build a Race Car. Even in his retirement he continued to enjoy tinkering in his shop at his house. He gained great pleasure traveling world wide with his late wife Helyn. Kasimir is preceded in death by his wife of over fifty three years Helyn who passed away in May of this year along with his brother Zigmund who passed away Friday November 8th, 2002. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Following cremation at Fehrman Crematory in Quincy, CA private inurnment will take place alongside his late wife Helyn in the Chester District Cemetery, Chester, CA. Catholic Graveside Services will take place in the Spring of 2003. An opportunity to leave the family a personal memorial tribute along with signing the memorial guest register is available online at www.fehrmanmortuary.com.
