Kassidy M. Coleman

Kassidy Michele Hill Coleman was born December 10, 1983 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Randy P. (Pat) Hill and Barbara Critchlow. She spent her childhood in Portland, Texas where she attended grade school at T. M. Clark Elementary and High School, graduating in 2002. She continued her education at the University of Texas in Austin.

While attending high school, Kassidy started working in the food and beverage industry at Northshore Country Club, where she became acquainted with her future husband Cody Coleman. After spending a couple years at UT, Kassidy returned to Portland. Upon leaving North Shore, she and Cody worked together at New Port Dunes Country Club in Port Aransas.

Kassidy and Cody were married on August 7, 2010, after several years of dating. Kassidy gave birth to Cylas Leon Coleman on June 7, 2011. The greatest joy of her life was being a mom. She was blessed with another child, Caia Louise Coleman on April 4, 2018.

Kassidy loved helping others, she was always willing to pitch in where she saw a need. Total stranger or life-long friend, if you needed something, Kassidy was there. She loved cooking for her family and friends. Nothing pleased her more than trying out new recipes and feeding those she loved. She enjoyed every type of music and loved to have her favorite songs playing as she prepared a meal.

Kassidy went home to be with her Lord on September 30, 2025 at the young age of 41.

Kassidy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jerry and Becky Goff; her paternal grandparents, Leon and Louise Hill.

Kassidy is survived by her husband, Cody Coleman; her son, Cylas Leon Coleman; her daughter, Caia Louise Coleman; her mother and stepfather, Barbara and Joe Critchlow of Refugio, TX; her father and stepmother, Pat and Sheldia Hill of Oakgrove, LA; brothers Landon Owens and Patrick Hill; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kassidy was a very devoted wife, mother and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Memorial Service will be held at Winstead's Funeral Home in Portland, Tx on October 7th, 2025 at 1:00 pm, allowing friends and family to gather and pay their respects to this remarkable woman.
