Kassidy D. Kelley, age 30, of Neopit passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 12, 2025, at her home. Kassidy was born on November 6, 1994, in Shawano to John Waubanascum, III., and the late Michelle Kelley. In 2020, she was united in marriage to Rosendo Cortes. Kassidy was a baptized member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit. Her children were her world, and she loved them dearly with all her heart.

Kassidy is survived by her husband, Rosendo Cortes; children, Clyde Cortes and Claire Cortes; father, John (Crystal Malone) Waubanascum, III.; grandparents, Jacquelyn Kelley and Faron Bailey; siblings, Pearl, Sieana, John IV, Zachary, Zinnia and Sonny John; and several aunts and uncles including special aunts Diana Wolf, Alison Wolf and Carolyn Wolf, whom she called "Papoose". She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Kassidy is preceded in death by her mother, Michelle Kelley; siblings, Katelyn Kelley, Rhianne Kelley and James Rockman; grandmother, Elizabeth Waubanascum; aunts, Bernadine Julius and Edmere Kelley; uncle, Virgil Julius; and numerous other relatives.

A Funeral Mass for Kassidy will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday October 16, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will begin on Tuesday October 14, 2025, at Neopit Community Center starting at 3:00 pm until the time of service on Thursday. Burial will be held in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery following the service.
