Dr. Katarzyna (Kasia) Malgorzata Zarzycki, loving mother, wife, and physician passed away suddenly to cancer, at the age of 54, surrounded by family and loved ones. Kasia was born in Miedzyrzec, Poland to Barbara and Piotr Suwala. She grew up in Sulechów, Poland and later pursued her Doctor of Medicine degree and practiced medicine in Szczecin, Poland. Kasia and her husband, Zbigniew Zarzycki, immigrated to the United States with their two daughters, Aleksandra (Ola) Zarzycka and Sandra Zarzycka. They later moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming where Kasia practiced medicine as a beloved Pediatrician at Cheyenne Children’s Clinic for 17 years.
Kasia had a passion for traveling and sampling cuisine from around the world. She also enjoyed spending time in the sunshine, gardening, hiking, and skiing. Kasia valued spending time with her two daughters and providing them with support as they pursued their dreams. She had an enthusiasm for life, and took every opportunity to dance, laugh, and live life to the fullest. But above all, Kasia was a compassionate and uplifting person who took pride in her dedication to her family, friends, and patients.
Kasia Zarzycki is survived by her daughters, Ola Zarzycka and Sandra Zarzycka; husband, Zbigniew Zarzycki; mother, Barbara Suwala; brother, Maciek Suwala; and many other family and friends.
