Kate M. Grewe, age 66, of Farmington Hills, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Angela Hospice in Livonia.

She was the one who planned the family gatherings, always making sure her nieces and nephews were included and having fun. Kate loved playing Uno, puzzles, and card games, and was a devoted fan of University of Michigan football, the Detroit Lions, and the Detroit Tigers.

Kate was also active in her church and enjoyed participating in Bible studies.

Kate is survived by her siblings, Mary (Joseph) Abella, Eugene (Barb) Grewe, Jr.; Barbara Grewe and Charles (Sue) Grewe; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Kate was preceded in death by her parents and her long-time friend and house mate, Cheryl Bluhm.

The Grewe family will receive guests on Tuesday, October 14, beginning at 10 am until the 12-noon memorial service, at the funeral home.
