Katha Lee Stuart, age 93, of Lake Jackson, Texas, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on June 18, 2025. She was born on April 24, 1932, in Detroit, Texas, to Luther and Lee Bell Icenhower.

She was married to Thomas Walker and later to Edwin Stuart, both of whom preceded her in death.

Katha Lee was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her life was grounded in faith, and she carried herself with grace, compassion, and quiet strength. She had a kind heart and a gentle presence, and she made even the smallest moments feel special and full of love.

She had a remarkable way with plants, always tending to them with care and joy. Her home was filled with vibrant greenery that thrived under her touch - a reflection of her nurturing spirit. Katha Lee also found joy in painting, using her creativity to bring beauty into the world around her. She loved her Houston Astros - rarely missing a game and cheering them on from her recliner.

Katha Lee is survived by her children: Stephen Walker, Sheila Walker, Cindy Herrera (Nino), Vance Stuart (Jill), Judy Heintschel (Jerry), and Gary Stuart (Debbie); her grandchildren: Taylor Kuhn-Rhodes (Richard), Stephanie Denbow (Daryl), Jonathan Herrera (Toni), Deana Mihalovich (Paul), Dyann Herrera, Emma Stuart, Jordan Weitner, Ryan Paske (Hillary), Jerad Heintschel, Dewayne Icenhower (Regina), Stephanie Connot (Mike), Lisa Winters (Wes), Tina Freelen (Jesse), and Nathan Homer (Julia); and numerous great-grandchildren who brought her immense pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; her brothers, Charles Icenhower, Kirk Icenhower, and C.L. (Junior) Icenhower; and her grandson, Tommy Walker.

Services will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Stroud Funeral Home in Clute, Texas. Burial will be in Woodland, Texas at the Woodland Cemetery on Wednesday, June 25 at 1:00 p.m.

Katha Lee's legacy of love, faith and creativity, and quiet devotion lives on in her family and all who had the blessing of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
