Katharina Hack

Katharina Hack, 99, of Parma Heights, Ohio, passed away on September 23, 2025. She was born on January 14, 1926, in Yugoslavia to the late Karl and Margaretta Jung. She was the beloved wife of the late Jakob Hack. Katharina is survived by her son Jack; grandchildren Fred Jr. and Carla (Mike); Kristin (Justin), Tiffany (Josh), and Matthew; and great-great-grandchildren Lucas, Ethan, Emily, Marcus, and Wyatt. She is also survived by her sister Willie. She was preceded in death by her son Fred and siblings Peter, Liesl, Riesl, Margaret, Leo, Leine, Karl, Annie, and Franky. She was an active member of the Donauschwaben's German-American community in Olmsted Township, where she enjoyed connecting with others who shared her heritage. In her later years, she found joy in taking peaceful car rides along Lake Erie with her son, appreciating the beauty of the water and the quiet moments together. A visitation will be held on Tuesday September 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sunset Chapel.
