Katherine Daniel Baxter, 70, of Burlington, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 15, 2024. She was born in Person County and was the daughter of the late Dr. Earl Wilson Daniel and Agnes Warren Daniel and was married for 47 years to John Clifton Baxter who survives.
Katherine retired from ABSS after 27 years in the home office. She along with her husband, attended St. Marks Church. Katherine earned her Bachelor’s degree from Elon University. She was an avid Elon football fan, attending games with her husband and friends over the years. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family at their beach home in Emerald Isle, NC. She loved beach music and cross stitching and was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband, John C. Baxter of the home and her son, Jason Earl Baxter and wife, Lauren of Durham; her grand dogs, Win and Cozy; her sister, Margaret Anne Daniel Bradsher and husband, David of Roxboro.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 1:00-3:00PM at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
