Katherine Ferrell Obituary
For six and a half years, Katie fought a valiant and incredibly courageous battle against metastatic colorectal cancer. She faced every challenge with grace, an unwavering faith, and a spirit that never failed to shine.
Katie was a beacon of pure light and genuine kindness to everyone who knew her. Her heart was pure, her laugh was infectious, and her presence was a gift. More than anything, she was a devoted follower of Jesus and the most loving mother to our six-year-old son, Anderson Huck. Anderson was, and is, the light of her life.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Daniel, her son, Anderson, her parents Jeanie & Troy Mincey, her brother, Kyle (Alyssa) Mincey, her grandparents, Carol & Ed Roberts, and countless friends whose lives she touched with her gentle, authentic soul.
While we are devastated by the void she leaves, we take comfort in knowing her suffering is over, and she is fully healed in the arms of the one she loved most. I love her and will miss her beyond imagination until the day we meet again, you're my best.
A visitation will be held at New Vision Baptist Church, 1750 N. Thompson Ln., Murfreesboro, TN 37129, on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. A Funeral will follow at 4:00 p.m.

No words, no matter how tender` can touch what you´re feeling inside. No one can soften the sorrow deep down where your heartaches reside. Still, we are thinking about you and hoping it helps in some way simply to know that we care about you and share in your sadness today.

Our hearts are broken by this news! Tiffany and I only got to meet Katie a handful of times, but each time we were so blown away by her warm heart, beautiful smile, and incredible kindness to all people.
Katie had a rare gift in that she made each person she met feel incredibly important. You could just tell by being around her that she loved Jesus with all her heart, mind, soul, and strength. You could also see how much she loved her amazing husband and precious son!
Katie's husband Daniel and I have been close friends for over 30 years. The stories he tells me about Katie inspire me to be a better Christ-follower, husband, dad, son, and friend. ~Mikey and Tif
