Katherine Fuchs, 64, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at Tristar Southern Hills in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on February 27, 1961, in Berea, Ohio, to David Fuchs and Jane Britton.
Katherine was known for her amazing sense of humor and love of practical jokes, always bringing laughter to those around her. A proud member of the Eastern Star, she devoted much of her time to helping others through nonprofit work, including organizations such as Kids Fight AIDS and TADR.
A true animal lover, Katherine had a special bond with her beloved cat, Shadow, and her horses. Above all, she cherished her family deeply and found her greatest joy in being a mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Katie Fuchs; grandchildren, Jossilynn and Lauralye Holt, and Amber Long; her sister, Christine Hinerman; brother: Carl Fuchs; and her loving parents, David Fuchs and Jane Britton.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Katherine will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and generous spirit that touched all who knew her.
