She later found a home in Marblehead, where she lived for 33 years, building lasting friendships and becoming an active part of the community. A very social person, Kay treasured her many lifelong friends and truly loved being surrounded by people. She found great joy in gardening and was especially proud of growing her own orchids and other flowers, which reflected her patience and nurturing spirit.
Kay was a devoted member of Star of the Sea Parish in Marblehead. She will be remembered for her warmth, her love of friends and neighbors, and the care she brought to everything she did.
