Katherine Louise Krawczyk

Katherine Krawczyk, 96, a resident of Bennington, VT., passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026.

She was born in Bennington, VT on November 10, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Cora DeBell and Frank Hurley.

Katherine cherished the time she spent with her beloved grandchildren. She also found great enjoyment in playing bingo and working on word searches. She was a friendly person with a great sense of humor, making friends wherever she went, and she enjoyed being outdoors.

Katherine is survived by her daughter, Agnes Racicot, and her son-in-law, Greg Racicot. She was a loving grandmother to Caleb Racicot (Daniel), Obediah Racicot (Laura), and Celisha Racicot. She will be remembered by her sisters, Viola Burgess, Ruby Kinney, and Nancy Flanders, and her brother, Jerod Sanders, as well as her good friend, Ed Balance. Additionally, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Raymond Krawczyk, a brother, Frank Hurley. As well as several sisters Eva Jones, Ruth Gratton, and Sally Pacher.

Friends may call at the E.P Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales Church on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

The burial will take place at a later date in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery.

The family extends special gratitude to the staff at the Veterans' Home for the wonderful care she received during her years as a resident there.
