Katherine J. LoBiondo (Sciarabba)

Peacefully on March 28, 2026, at age 89, surrounded by her family. Katherine's battle with heart disease ended, and she went to be with the Lord. She is survived by her adoring and loving daughters Sharon (Carm Colagrande) LoBiondo, Lauren (David, Sr.) Lentine and the joys of her life grandchildren, David Lentine Jr., Kyle (Kristina) Lentine, Jarred Lentine and great-grandchildren, Dominic, David III, and Elena Lentine. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Waver. Special cousins, Chuck and Lorraine Dispenza and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Katherine was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband of 71 years, Anthony LoBiondo and her parents, Frank and Jennie Sciarabba.

Katherine was a beloved woman who led a life defined by hard work, a passion for education, and a deep love for her family. A proud graduate of Mercy High School, Katherine maintained many of those cherished friendships for over 70 years. Her professional career included impactful roles at Spoleta Construction, Peat Marwick Financial, and Rochester Copier, Inc., from which she eventually retired. Her commitment to learning was perhaps most evident when she enrolled in business courses at Monroe Community College, often sitting side-by-side with her daughters to complete homework. She instilled the importance of lifelong learning in her children and took immense pride in their many accomplishments.

Following her retirement, Katherine and her husband, Anthony, enjoyed 20 years as "snowbirds" at their home in Colonial Estates in Boynton Beach, Florida. They took great joy in entertaining friends and family and hosting nightly happy hours. An avid reader and a devoted wife, Katherine cared for Anthony until his passing in August 2025. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her wit and ability to listen to and engage in thoughtful conversations with friends and family. She loved to shop and possessed an impeccable sense of fashion and brought remarkable poise and style to every occasion.

No prior visitation. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:00 am. at St. Theodores Church, 168 Spencerport Road, Gates. Interment is private.
