Katherine Patton Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sisco Funeral Chapel - Springdale on Dec. 19, 2025.
Katherine Joy Patton, 88, of Lowell, Arkansas, passed away on December 18, 2025, in Springdale. Kathy was born on the family farm in Lowell on April 4, 1937, along with her twin brother, Kenneth. They were the second set of twins born to Cecil and Lillie Patton, joining their oldest brother, Robert, and making a total of five children.

She attended church and school in the Silent Grove Community and later became an active member of First Baptist Springdale, now known as Cross Church.

Katherine enjoyed being her mother's helper and a big sister to her youngest sibling, Joyce. Later in life, she used her homemaking skills as a housekeeper and nanny to earn money. She eventually worked at Moore Drop Forge making Craftsman tools until retiring to care for her aging parents.

Kathy always loved dogs and had several throughout the years who were like family to her. In addition to her love for pets, she enjoyed playing the piano and participating in family singings and at church.

Although Katherine never married or had children of her own, she was always active at family gatherings with her siblings and their children. She especially loved coloring with her niece and picked up the hobby again in her later years.

Kathy lived most of her life on the family farm on Silent Grove Road with her parents and her twin brother, Kenneth.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Robert Patton; and her sisters, Aldine White, Christine Weiss, and Joyce Alley.

Katherine is survived by Charles Weiss, David Weiss, Mike Patton, Gary Patton, Linda Patton Undernehr, Michael Undernehr, Jonathan Undernehr, Noah Undernehr, and Kera Thrailkill.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale, beginning at 3:00 p.m., with Charlie Foster officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
