Mrs. Katherine Phillips, age 90, of Unionville, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023 in Lewisburg, TN.  Mrs. Katherine was born in Williamson County, TN and was a daughter of the late Grady Spears and America Anderson Spears.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Dallas Phillips, several brothers and sisters, and a grandson, Bryan Leverette.

 

Mrs. Katherine enjoyed raising flowers and watching birds. Her passion was landscaping in her yard.  The most important part of her life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her children, Tony Phillips of Chapel Hill, TN, Christine Hawes of Murfreesboro, TN, Carolyn Phillips Leverette, of Unionville, TN; 3 grandchildren, Ben Leverette, Charles Sewell, Angela Coleman Pitts; 3 great grandchildren, Brianna & Blake Pitts, Dallas Sewell; sisters, Mamie Ruth Nickerson of Columbia, TN, Nancy Dale of Chapel Hill, TN; brother, Mike Spears of Chapel Hill, TN.

 

Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 5 PM until 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 11 AM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Wise officiating.  Interment will follow in Garrison Cemetery in Williamson County, TN.

 

Pallbearers will be Blake Pitts, Michael Leverette, Ronnie Sweeney, Jackie Phillips, Joey Hargrove, and Paul Johnson.

 

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 2008 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203.
