Katherine "Kitty" R. Ricker, age 93, of Sebewaing, formerly of Owendale, passed away peacefully Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro.

Kitty was born in Munger on August 16, 1932, to Steven and Mary (Kappel) Grasel. She graduated from Owendale High School in 1950. On December 22, 1951, she married the love of her life, Robert D. Ricker, at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Gagetown. Together they spent 67 years of wedded bliss until he passed away April 11, 2019. She worked for Automotive Industries in Owendale, General Cable in Cass City and then stated her own crafting business, Kitty's Backdoor Crafts. She enjoyed crafting, knitting, woodworking, sewing, cooking, baking, reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing.

Kitty is survived by her children: Lynda (Paul) Rocheleau of Cass City, Jeff (Pam) Ricker of Clarklake and Kim (Randy) Ewald of Sebewaing; grandchildren: Raelynn (Kevin) Vaughn, Jeremy Rocheleau, Jeffrey (special friend Veronica DiFeo, Bryan (Jennifer) Ricker, Andrea (Neal) Martin, Ashley (Nick) Gettel, Justin (fiancé Kristin Wolfgang) Ewald, Chelsey Kennedy and Lauren (David) Cavender; 20 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren with 2 on the way; and sister-in-law, Gail Anderson of Pigeon.

Kitty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings: Robert (Maryann) Grasel and Edna (Reuben) Sjulstad; and brother-in-law Bruce Anderson.

The Funeral service will be Friday, December 26, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at 2:30pm at Grant Township Cemetery (Gagetown).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the family (c/o Kim Ewald).

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community for the wonderful care given to Kitty over the last few years.
