Katheryn "Kathy" Dockery, 63, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Born on February 7, 1963, in Gastonia, North Carolina, Kathy lived a life marked by faith, compassion, and unwavering generosity.
A devoted Christian, Kathy placed her trust in God throughout her life and often shared her favorite phrase: "God's got this." Her deep faith guided her actions and inspired those around her. Missions and serving others held a special place in her heart, reflecting her commitment to service and spreading kindness wherever she went.
Kathy was known for her caring spirit and loving nature. She touched countless lives with her kindness and generosity and was cherished by all who knew her. Her warmth and gentle presence left a lasting impression on friends, family members, and the many people she encountered throughout her life.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Rebecca Kimble and son-in-law Gerod; her sister Cindy Turner and brother-in-law Jody; her brother Keith Rollins and sister-in-law Sheila; and her treasured granddaughter Autumn. Kathy also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will remember her with love and miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joey "Shane" Dockery, as well as her parents Joyce and Furman "Jack" Rollins.
Kathy did not wish to have funeral service, only to visit the beach one last time.
Kathy's legacy of love, faith, and compassion will continue to live on through those who were blessed to know her. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
