It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Patricia Davis, who left us peacefully on February 11, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on November 16, 1936, in Lincolnton, NC, Shirley spent her life bringing warmth and kindness to everyone she met.
Pat worked in banking her whole career. Mostly part time so she could be with her children in the afternoons when they got out of school. Upon retirement, she worked as church secretary from 2000 to 2010. Pat was faithful to serve the Lord by sharing Him with everyone she met. She particularly cared for people less fortunate. She had the great ability to bring joy to everyone. She was generous and unselfish in her life pertaining to others. She had a wonderful singing voice. She loved to have her loved ones sing hymns around the piano at family gatherings. Her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren were loved by her, and she was faithful to love them and pray daily for them by name. Pat loved to travel to historic places with her late husband Charles. She loved to listen to bible teachers on the radio. She was a wonderful, insightful bible teacher herself. The scriptures were often quoted and shared with people that she was around. She offered prayer for anyone that desired encouragement. Pat was saved as a young girl and was faithful to her savior Jesus Christ all of her life with joy, thanksgiving and earnest service to him.
