It was a pleasure for us to be Kathy´s neighbor for the past 3 years what a tremendous inspiration she was to us to watch her battle and never complain we will truly miss her pleasant smile and kind words she would always give the kids she would never complain when she would have to stop the lawn mower and pick up all the balls and toys that were thrown over the fence and into her yard from my kids it was not the same to not see Kathy out working in the yard in the end she was a pillar of strength we will watch over Bill and make sure he carries on Love your neighbor The Mott family

This lady put her heart and soul into everything she did. Married for 55 years. Raised four great kids. A doting grandmother ("I won't spoil them...much"). A solid friend to many. Fought cancer for years before it wore her down. If Heaven has a slo-pitch softball league I hope St. Peter is ready for #8. Rest in peace, Kathie with a "K". You are missed but always in our hearts.

I will miss your smiling face, Kathie! It was an honor and a privilege to take care of you! You always made me laugh and I loved exchanging our twin stories with eachother. On behalf of GYN ONC research department, Kathie cared so much about helping others who were fighting the same battle as her. She amazed me with her energy-- power washing the house, helping her son move, taking her granddaughter shopping, and all the fun stories with her daughter that she shared at all her visits! I hope your family and friends can find comfort in all the memories, smiles and laughter you carried with you. Love, Nurse Jackie
