Celebration of Life Service for Kathy Ailey, 82 of Enid will be Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 11:00 am in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel.

Kathy was born June 12, 1943, in Blackwell Oklahoma to Melvin Francis and Lois Adele (Brown) Fields and passed away January 2, 2026, in Enid, Oklahoma with her family by her side.

She grew up in many places as her father was in the military. Kathy lived in Texas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Georgia and Vienna, Austria. She graduated from Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Kathy went to Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, where she was a Mavette. She met the love of her life, Donald Ailey and they married April 17, 1964, in Blackwell. They made their home in Oklahoma City, before moving to Medford to raise their family. Kathy was a custodian and bus driver for Medford Public Schools for over 20 years. Donald and Kathy moved to Ponca City, where she later retired. After the death of husband, she moved to Enid to be closer to her daughter. Kathy enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents, Melvin and Lois Fields; stepmother, Wilma Fields; brothers, Stan and Steven Fields.

She is survived by her children, Paul Ailey and Diane Ailey; five grandchildren, Keeley, Mikayla, Tatum, Brooke, and Derek; great grandchildren, Ronan and Easton; sister, Barbara Wilcox; brother-in-law, John; sisters-in-law, Carol and Shirley; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
