It is with heavy hearts to announce the passing of Kathleen "Kathy" A. Baasch (nee Jayne), 68, of South Milwaukee. Kathy passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025 at home. Kathy was born on December 5, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI to Franklin and Marion Jayne.
Kathy was a devoted wife to Glenn A. Baasch. They were together for 33 years and married for 20 years.
She was a loving mother to Nicole (Martin Jr.) Alaniz and Benjamin (Angela) Baasch. Kathy was a devoted and loving grandmother to Emilio (Erica) Alaniz, Antonio Alaniz and Alina Baasch. She was also a new great grandmother to Sophia "pip squeak" Alaniz.
Kathy was a loving sister to the late Betty Ann (Donald) Nelson, the late Michael Jayne, Barbara (Wayne Sr.) Unrath, the late Patrick Jayne, the late Robin (Michael Sr.) Schmid, Mary Jo (Lawrence Sr.) Schneider, Nancy Kashishian, Franklin (Penny) Jayne and Jennie Kay Jayne. She was also a loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.
Kathy will be missed dearly by many. A celebration of life will be held at a later date; details to be announced at a later date.
