Kathleen Baumann (Abraham) of Slinger passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 72 leaving behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and laughter.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Rudolph and Kathryn (Flynn) Abraham. Kathleen graduated from Custer High School in Milwaukee and went on to study for her Medical Assistant certification from Concordia College. Later, she pursued her fondness for design at Fox Valley Technical College, studying Interior Design and becoming a proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Art and music were a loved part of Kathleen’s life. She and her husband spent countless hours wandering art fairs, discovering new artists, and enjoying live music at Summerfest. She found peace in her flower gardens, surrounding herself with various shades of purple, her favorite color, and carried a sense of fashion that reflected her vibrant personality.

Spirited and strong willed, Kathleen had an infectious laugh that was warm and inviting, especially when she would crack herself up. She was a devoted big sister who always made time for family, someone you could look up to, someone who deeply cared about others. Receiving regular calls from Susan and Angela were greatly anticipated events, always brightening her week. Her generosity and warmth were felt by everyone around her. Kathleen’s Easter gatherings became family legend: tables overflowing with food, laughter through the house, and an enormous Easter basket filled with the finest treats for all.

She adored her dogs and got a kick out of every dog in the family. She loved sharing stories about Diamond, the kind of nice pony, treasured her beloved bond with her goddaughter Rebecca, and kept alive the mystery of “Cheryl and Carol,” now lovingly held by her sister Susan.

Kathleen deeply touched her husband and all who were close to her; her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled. Her love, intelligence, kindness and humor will continue to guide those who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Patrick; her sisters Susan, Barbara (Koenen), and Angela; her brother Bill (spouse Sue). She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who held her close. Her memory is also cherished by her husband’s family.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Kathryn and Rudolph, and by her brothers, Mark and Tim. Mark’s wife, Tammy, continues to be a treasured member of the family.

In keeping with Kathleen’s wishes, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations in her honor can be made to the Washington County Humane Society in Slinger, Wisconsin — a reflection of her lifelong love for animals.

Kathleen, we love you, we miss you, you will live in our hearts forever.
