Kathleen Anne Briggs

Kathleen Anne Briggs, 74, of Chartiers Township, died Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in UPMC Washington. She was born September 19, 1951, in Whitsett, a daughter of the late William E and Anne Moskal Pato. Mrs. Briggs was a 1969 graduate of Frazier High School and received her teaching degree from California University of Pennsylvania. She had worked for many years as a medical receptionist for Washington Family Practice. Mrs. Briggs was a member of Washington First Church of the Nazarene where she played the piano. Kathleen enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, playing the piano, and spending time with her grandson. She was a member of the Arden AC. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Hugh Briggs; a son, Jonathan David Briggs of Washington; a daughter, Emily Briggs (Mirza Zukic) of Indiana; a grandson, Haris Zukic; five brothers, David Pato (Nancy) of Jeannette, Joseph Pato and Paul Pato (Denise) of Star Junction, John Pato (Yolanda) of Rostraver, and William Pato (Tammy) of Taylorstown; a sister, Jennifer Musiak (Mark) of Rostraver; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2026, in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342.
