Kathleen Grace Campain, age 82, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025 at ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital in Adrian, MI. She was born on February 18, 1943, in Ishpeming, MI, the daughter of the late Charles Thomas and Grace Dora (Tregoning) Campain. Kathleen was joined in marriage with John Randolph (Randy) Hernandez in Tecumseh, MI, on March 26, 2011, and he survives.
Kathleen was a member of the Tecumseh American Legion Auxiliary. She also loved playing softball and was a proponent of Tai Chi. Her strongest devotion though was to skydiving, and she was proud of being part of the largest jump group in Michigan in 2003.
In addition to her husband, Randy, Kathleen is survived by her two daughters, Shari (Stephen Schechner) Grenier of Springfield, NJ, and Michelle Grenier of Albion, MI; her three grandchildren, Zach (Luna) Taylor of Ann Arbor, MI, Myles (Kristen) Oakley of Youngstown, OH, and Sierra (Kendall) Mead of Longivew, TX; three great-grandchildren, Max Oakley, Ben Kendall and Jason Mead; and her siblings, Mary Elizabeth (Robert) Sikonia of Manhatten Beach, CA, Joan (John) Shores of Ypsilanti, MI, and Tony (Sherry) Campain of The Villages, FL.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Campain.
A Celebration of Life for Kathleen will be held at the Tecumseh American Legion on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.. Memorial contributions in honor of Kathleen may be made to the Catherine Cobb Safe House, in Adrian, MI.
