Kathleen A. Cassidy

Our beautiful Sister passed in the arms of her grateful family on April 21st, 2017 at her home in Hinesburg, VT. Kathleen was born in Burlington, Vermont on September 1, 1956. She attended Hinesburg Elementary School and Champlain Valley Union High School. Kathleen worked at the Digital Plant for several years, then found her passion with Home Health which she cared for many for 20+ years. Kathleen had a deep compassion for people in need. She was giving, loving, caring, tender, generous, nurturing and always willing to help no matter the task at hand. She had a great sense of humor, a contagious laugh and a glowing smile. She had a natural talent for growing flowers and cooking like a pro. Crafts were also a pleasure that calmed her soul. Kathleen will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was predeceased by her father Raymond Cassidy, her brother Timothy Cassidy and mother Mary Cassidy. She leaves her uncle Martin Cassidy, her aunt Merlene Hagan and many cousins of the Donovan and Hagan families of New Hampshire and the Oliver family of Maine; her sister-in-law Toni Cassidy and friends of many years Holly Goshinksy, Rejean Cournoyer and Victoria Hemingway and Barbara Garrison; also her dog Bella whom she loved as her child. A special thanks to the V.N.A. Nurses and L.N.A.s for their help and care. A celebration of Kathleen's life will be held this summer.
