Kathleen Clark Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 17, 2023.
Kathleen Jones Clark passed away peacefully in her home on November 16, 2023 at 1:05 p.m. after fighting cancer for several months. She was surrounded by her loving husband, John "Lanny" Clark and other family members, just as she would have wished.
Kathleen was born in Oakland, California, to her parents Maurice and Eunice Jones. She grew up in California with her siblings Michael, Maureen, Kelly, and Ronald, and spent most of her adult life in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Kathleen was a woman of many talents, especially singing and art, but her greatest talent was her ability to be a friend to all. She always welcomed new friends, enveloping everyone she knew with love and warmth. Her greatest joy was being a mother and a grandmother, and she loved nothing more than being surrounded by family, even in the chaotic moments.
Her faith was central to Kathleen's life. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the church through many capacities throughout her life. She had a strong testimony of her Savior Jesus Christ, which strengthened her through her life's trials.
Services will be held on Saturday November 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2881 Orchard Avenue in Grand Junction, Colorado
