Chesapeake, VA – It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen "Kathi" Clark, who left us on May 21st, 2025, at the age of 65. Kathi departed this life peacefully, surrounded by family. Born on July 7, 1959 in San Diego, CA, she was the daughter of the late Beverly "Bev" and Marlin "Bud" Scott. She was also preceded in death by her ex-husband but best friend, Johnny Brausewetter.
Kathi is survived by her daughter Amber Evans (David) and her 4 beloved grandchildren Zaki, Jahari, Brielle, and Helena. She is further survived by her brother Michael Scott (Linda); and sisters Leslie Dunn (Larry), Maureen Fowler (Daniel), Patricia Scott (Joan), Suellen Bonga (Jan), and Kimberly Barbarji (Mohamed) as well as many nieces and nephews.
She loved the beach, travel, and beating everyone at every game she played. Her family and friends meant the world to her. She was as fierce and brave as she was funny and kind. She loved from the bottom of her heart, especially her grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
