Kathleen F. "Kate" Ganci

Kathleen F. "Kate" Ganci, 76, the beloved matriarch of the Ganci clan, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with cancer. Born December 21, 1948, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Virginia Flamish. She and her devoted husband Robert J. Ganci celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on August 7.
As a mother of 4 and Baba of 7 grandchildren, her kitchen was the gathering place for all holiday celebrations and family get togethers. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church, Fullerton.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Jodi L. wife of Ron Lock of Quakertown, Jennifer A. Ganci and Chuck Dodge of Syracuse, NY and Janelle M. Ganci wife of Steve Raysely, Jr. of Northampton, son, Matthew R. Ganci and Jacqueline Cromonic of Northampton, grandchildren, Joe, Jillian, Kaden, Jenna, Jake, Kendall, and Jack, brothers, Jack Flamish and Claudia of Seattle, WA and Alan Flamish and wife Debbie of Columbia, SC, sister, Patrice Flamish and Donna, and nieces and nephews. Kate will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
Services: The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM followed by a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial, all on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Avenue, Whitehall, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
