Kathleen Gehring Obituary
Kathy grew up in Minnetonka and Duluth, MN and graduated from Cathedral High School in Duluth, MN. She received a degree in accounting from St. Catherine's University in St. Paul, MN, and a degree in elementary education from Mankato State University.
For the past 21 years, Kathy has been a patient care coordinator and team lead with The Dental Specialists. She will be remember by her kindness to patients and ability to put people at ease in often difficult situations. Her warm smile and kind words from behind her desk made many a patient's day. Kathy will be remembered for her love of all things Irish and keeping holy her High
Holy Day which is St. Patrick's Day! She loved music, being with her family and entertaining friends. Her Kentucky Derby Parties were always a hit and the Mint Julips always delicious!
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Anne Schmitt and Dr. Harry and Antoinette Gehring and her uncles, Dr. Stephen Gehring and Peter
Dance.
Kathy is survived by her parents, Harry and Margaret Gehring, brother Harry Gehring (Wanda) of Arlington, VA; sister Anne Boberski (Vince) of Lake Bluff, IL ; aunts Mary Schmitt, Susan Gehring and Jamie Dance. She will be remembered as a terrific Aunt by her nieces Margaret and Krista and nephews Vince and Zach. She is also survived by wonderful cousins Stephanie Tancredi (Anthony), David Dance, Andrew Dance (Jennifer), Steve Gehring (Tomo), Dr. Jim Gehring and their families. She will be truly missed by her best friends Andrea and Brad Guinn.
Funeral services and celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 4th 2025 at O'Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home in Woodbury with visitation from 1-2:00
and service to follow.

Kathy was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I knew Kathy through our work at The Dental Specialists. She was respected and admired for her dedication to her job. God bless her soul.
