Kathleen Groff

M. Kathleen Groff, 82, of Harleysville, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Larry Groff, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.

Born November 5, 1943, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Elizabeth Gahman.

Kathleen worked in a variety of food service positions throughout her life, and served in various roles over the years at Salford Mennonite Church where she was a longtime member.

Her greatest joy came from her family, and she especially loved visits and phone calls from her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling and, most recently, making new friends at Peter Becker Community.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanine Groff Musselman and sister Eileen Derstine. She is survived by her son, Loren Groff and his wife, Trinda, and their daughters Lily and Elsie. She is also survived by her grandson Miles Musselman and his wife, Katie, and their children Beau and Maisie; grandson Forrest Musselman and his wife, Courtney, and their children Logan, Finley, Shepherd, and Drew; her brother, Dale Gahman, and his wife, Linda; and her son-in-law, Kendall Musselman.

Services for Kathleen will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jeanine Musselman Memorial Fund in support of financial aid for students at Dock Mennonite Academy or to Mennonite Central Committee.
