Kathleen M. (Reed) Gruss, of Windsor, entered into rest at home surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the age of 63. She was the wife of Daniel Gruss to whom she married on October 7, 1989.
Kathleen was the daughter of the late Sidney J. and Barbara Lee Reed. She was born in Baltimore on October 28, 1960 and worked as a Financial Crimes Investigator for over 20 years for the United States Department of Defense. Besides spending time with her husband and children, Kathleen especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching forensic crime shows. She loved spending time with family at her vacation home in West Virginia, getting cozy under her blankets with warm socks and watching Hallmark Christmas movies. She was talented in the kitchen with her cooking & baking abilities. Kathy also enjoyed spending time in her garden - she especially loved daisies. Kathy was a beautiful person and a joy to be around; she was a great listener and always full of positive energy. Most importantly, she was devoted to her family and cherished every moment with them.
Besides her loving husband, Kathleen was survived by her son, Christopher Bosnick, his wife, Faith, of Windsor and their four children, Dominick, Conner, Lily, and Aurora; she was also survived by her daughter, Lauren Gruss, of Falling Waters, WV. and her two children, Jasper, and Charlotte. She leaves behind her beloved sister and best friend, Debbie Besece, her husband, William (Bip), of Landsdowne, MD, as well as her goddaughter, Ashley Polk, of Manchester, MD. She was preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above, as well as her younger brothers, Sidney J. Reed Jr. and David P. Reed, both of Pasadena, MD.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion is assisting the family with arrangements.
