Kathleen L. (Bliss) Hammar

age 71, of Upper Saint Clair, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Wife of Richard J. Hammar. Mother of Michelle (Rich) Walker, Michael (Melodi) Prewitt, Bryan Prewitt. Step-mother of Matthew (Roxanne) Hammar. Grandmother of Darian (Jake), Chelsea, Alayna, Jordan, Charlotte and Peyton. Great-grandmother of Julien, Liberty and Giovanni. Daughter of the late Russell E. Bliss, Jr. and Barbara Remalia. Sister of Richard Bliss.

She dedicated her career to caring for others, serving as the Personal Care Home Administrator of Westminster Place at Presbyterian SeniorCare in Oakmont since 2007. Through her leadership, kindness, and compassion, she touched the lives of countless residents, families, and staff.

Outside of her work, she cherished time at her camp in Butler, PA, where many happy memories were made with family and friends. She loved vacationing in St. Pete Beach, where the sun, sand, and ocean brought her joy and relaxation.

She had a passion for baking, especially during the holidays, filling her home with warmth and sweet traditions. Her talents extended beyond holiday treats-she lovingly created wedding cakes for many family members and friends, giving a piece of her heart to their special celebrations.

Kathleen will be remembered for her generosity, her creativity in the kitchen, and the love she poured into both her work and her family.
