She was born April 2, 1940, in Canton, the daughter of the late Maurice and Monica (Sullivan) Bantz.
Kathleen retired from H & W Contractors where she was Financial Officer for 35 years.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She enjoyed card playing, decorating, flower arranging, and luncheons.
Kathleen is survived by husband of 67 years, Jack Helmick; daughter and son-in-law , Holly Helmick and Raffaele Paone; son, Steve Helmick, and sister, Christine Bantz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, William Bantz, Thomas Bantz, Judith Huth, David Bantz.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Divine Mercy Parish - St. Mary Campus, 206 Cherry Rd. NE at 11:00 am with Very Rev. John E. Sheridan, J.C.L., V.F. celebrant.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Central Catholic High School.
