Kathleen Hunter (nee Adams), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the age of 81. Loving wife of the late Robert Hunter; Beloved daughter of the late James and Sophie Adams; devoted mother of Katherine "Katie" (Michael) Green; dear sister of Eugene (Debbie) Adams and Patricia (Forrest) Glaser; Fur Babies, Bella and Sydney. Kathleen is also preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Hunter and her brother, James Adams, Jr. Kathleen is loved by many nieces, nephews, and adopted daughters.
Kathleen was a creative soul who found joy in ceramics, drawing, and challenging herself with word games. She cherished every moment spent with her family and lived her life guided by a strong Catholic faith as a devoted parishioner of St. Cletus Catholic Church. For many years, she worked in the kitchen at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio alongside her mother—years she remembered with gratitude and pride. A courageous breast cancer survivor, Kathleen faced life with quiet strength and resilience. She was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
Memorials may be made in Kathleen's name to Pathways Hospice.
