Kathleen Larkin Obituary

Age 69, of St. Paul, MN, formerly of Minneapolis, MN, and Indianapolis, IN, passed away unexpectedly at her home in St. Paul.
Kathy graduated from Manchester College of Indiana in 1976. She was a witty conversationalist with a good sense of humor and a deep love for cats and dogs, having several she adored throughout her life. Her dog, Mabel, held a particularly special place in her heart. She was especially dedicated to caring for special needs cats. Kathy enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, ancestral research, trips to the casino, and learning from political thinkers. She recently retired after 25 years with Sit Investment Associates.
Preceded in death by parents, Amy and Gail Larkin, and brothers, Mike, Gary and Jeff (Sandy) Larkin. Survived by brother Kevin Larkin, sisters-in-law Deanna and Judy, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thanks to her friend and former coworker, Scott, who was a great help to her.
In accordance with Kathy's wishes, no services will be held.

Kathy and I were friends in grade school an were friends for many years. She was one of the funniest people I have ever known. I'm very sad to learn of her passing.

As a big sis she stood up for me when I so needed it ! An animal lover like my self, we spent 6 hrs, in 95 deg. temps trying and succeeding in finding a stray/ lost dogs home. Special heart felt times.

These are some pictures of Kathy and her most recent two cats she shared with me a few years back, so I feel she would be happy having them shared here. Kathy loved giving a home to and caring for cats who were older, up for adoption and needed special care. For years, her dog Mabel was her faithful companion.
