Kathleen “Kathy” King Mallory, 71 of Columbus passed away at Columbus Hospice House with her loving family by her side.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday August 23, 2025 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday August 22, 2025 at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A private burial will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Kathy was born February 16, 1954 in Columbus, GA to the late Jack King and Ruth Swinson King. She attended local schools and her career in the accounts payable and receivable department at Columbus Paper Co. allowed her to make many lifelong friends.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Tom King. Survivors include her husband, Larry Mallory, daughter: Misty Queen (Brandon) of Columbus, GA, son: Shane Allen (Julia) of Pensacola, FL, brother: Kenny King of Cataula, GA, sister: Lori Carver of Columbus, GA and stepdaughter: Shannon Moore. grandsons Cody Jenkins, Jackson Abbott, Devon Allen and Alex Allen, granddaughters; Penny Queen, Chelsea Crowdis (Jordana) a great grandchild, Callen Crowdis and a brother Kenny King of Cataula, GA. Many nieces and nephews all of who will miss her dearly.
