Mrs. Kathleen Faith Matthews, 83 of Lewiston, Michigan died suddenly on the early morning of September 7, 2025 at her home. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 10, 1941 to the late Edmund and Anne Wojewski. She married Arthur Matthews in January of 1961 and together they celebrated 64 years of marriage before her passing. The couple has resided in Lewiston for the last 26 years. Kathy was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, and she sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Red Hats in Florida. She enjoyed bird watching, feeding the hummingbirds, gardening, flowers, and baking. She is and will be deeply missed.

Kathy is remembered by her loving husband, Arthur Matthews; son, Michael (Patty) Matthews; grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany, Darrin, and Niki; and sister, Debbie Lankford. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Anne Wojewski; son, Todd Anthony Matthews; and brother, Jim.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; Fr. Joe Musziewicz officiating. Visitation will take place at 10:00 AM until time of Mass. There will be a luncheon following services.
